The Bavarians brought in the diminutive midfielder from Benfica on Germany’s transfer deadline day.
However, there was no indication in their official statement that the loan deal included an option to buy.
According to A BOLA, there is a definite agreement between the clubs that will allow Bayern to buy 19-year-old Dantas.
Their information is that the fixed price is €7.5m, with Benfica having a 25% sell-on clause in the deal.
For now, the Portugal under-20 midfielder will play for Bayern’s second team in Germany’s third tier.
Before arriving in Munich, Dantas had made 49 appearances for Benfica B, scoring five and assisting six goals.
Benfica handed him a first team debut last December as a late substitute against Vitoria Setubal.
