Timm Klose joins FC Basel on loan from Norwich City

Timm Klose has made an emotional return to FC Basel, joining the club on loan from Norwich City.

Centre-back Klose, 32, played for Basel during his youth before moving to Germany where he played for Wolfsburg.

The Swiss international joined Norwich in January 2016 for over €10m and became a regular in the side.

However, a posterior cruciate ligament injury early last season kept him out until June, limiting him to five Premier League appearances.

Norwich have confirmed that Basel will have the option to buy Klose when his loan spell ends.
