Having failed in an attempt to sign Callum Hudson-Odoi from Chelsea, they have turned to ‘Plan B’ Costa, Kicker reports.
Bayern and Juve are now discussing a loan, which will most likely not include an option to buy.
Costa, 30, has given his approval for a move back to Bayern, where he played from 2015 until 2018.
Sky sources: Douglas Costa is almost back at @FCBayern! He already gave his green light, details still to be negotiated between both clubs. Would be a one year loan without any option. Douglas is still with the team @juventusfc, but convinced to come back to Munich #SkyTransfer

Bayern boss Hansi Flick wants a fourth winger to join Leroy Sané, Kingsley Coman and Serge Gnabry as his options.
Brazil international Costa is older than the three of them and will bring experience and quality to the Bayern side.
