Everything had seemed to be in place for the 21-year-old to join Marcelo Bielsa’s side for around €20m.
However, it’s now reported that the transfer has fallen through after the clubs failed to reach an agreement.
Sky’s counterparts in the UK say that Cuisance had been in England to complete his switch from Bayern.
And David Ornstein of The Athletic says Cuisance failed his medical tests, leading to the deal’s collapse.

Earlier today, Bielsa was asked about Cuisance’s arrival and was cautious.
“I would prefer to talk about him when he is officially our player,” said Bielsa. “I don’t want to repeat the case of Dan James.”
