The 31-year-old cost Leicester a fee of €25m three years ago, but has made just 21 appearances.
For the past one and a half seasons, Silva has been on loan at Monaco in France.
Brendan Rodgers confirmed earlier this month that Silva was not in Leicester’s plans and a solution has now been found.
The Foxes are tearing up Silva’s contract a year early, which enables him to join Sampdoria for free.
Sampdoria have announced the signing of Adrien Silva on a two-year deal.
