Gianluca Di Marzio reveals that Paqueta said goodbye to his Milan teammates and coaching staff today ahead of his move to France.
It’s also reported that Paqueta will leave on a permanent deal, not a loan move.
OL will pay in the region of €21m for Paqueta, who Milan splashed out €35m for in 2018.
Milan will also receive a percentage of any future sale of the attacking midfielder.
Paqueta’s stay at the Rossoneri lasted just under two years, with the Brazilian making 44 appearances.
He failed to live up to his price-tag, scoring just one goal and registering three assists for Milan.
Milan will welcome the funds, which they will look to reinvest in a new central defender.
Lyon have confirmed the signing of Paqueta from AC Milan on a five-year deal.
