Roberto Pereyra returns to Udinese from Watford

Argentina midfielder Roberto Pereyra has returned to Udinese from Watford for an undisclosed fee.

Pereyra has put pen to paper on a three-year deal and will wear the number 37 shirt.

It was at Udinese that Pereyra made a name for himself in Europe after arriving from River Plate in 2011.

Pereyra’s good form led to him joining Juventus in 2014 before moving to Watford in 2016 for €13m.

The 29-year-old spent four seasons at the English side and now returns to Serie A following Watford’s relegation from the Premier League.

Pereyra, who has been capped 19 times by Argentina, made 115 appearances for Watford.
