Real Sociedad ace Diego Llorente close to Leeds move

Spain defender Diego Llorente is closing in on a move from Real Sociedad to Leeds United, according to reports.

Sky Sports and local Basque source Noticias de Gipuzkoa both confirm talks are at an advanced stage.

Llorente, 27, has spent the last three years with Sociedad and has been capped five times by Spain.

He would become the second Spanish international to join Marcelo Bielsa’s team after Rodrigo Moreno.

Sociedad hope to receive €20m-plus for Llorente, who has made 88 appearances for La Real.
