Jorge Mendes trying to move Douglas Costa to Wolves

Wolves could pull off a big coup by signing Juventus winger Douglas Costa in the coming days, Tuttosport reveals.

Portuguese super-agent Jorge Mendes, who has close ties to Wolves, is attempting to transfer Costa, 30, to the English club.

Having sold Diogo Jota to Liverpool, former Bayern Munich star Costa would be a fitting replacement.

Juventus have given Mendes their blessing to try and make a deal happen, with Costa a player they are inviting offers for.

The Old Lady want to refresh their attack and are considering Stephan El Shaarawy and Federico Chiesa.

Negotiations for Costa to join Wolves are ‘moving forward’ but not yet complete.
