Dzeko to join Juventus for €16m, Milik to Roma for €26m

Arkadiusz Milik has agreed to join Roma from Napoli, paving the way for Edin Dzeko to join Juventus.

According to reports in Italy, Milik was convinced to join Roma today after being reluctant to make the move.

Milik will renew his contract with Napoli by one year before moving on a season-long loan to Roma.

Roma will then make Milik’s stay permanent next summer on a contract until 2025. The entire deal will be worth around €26m

Milik’s imminent move to Roma frees Dzeko, 34, to leave the capital for champions Juventus.

Romeo Agresti reports that Juventus will pay €16m for Dzeko and he will earn €7.5m-per-season.

Bosnian marksman Dzeko will undergo a medical in the next few hours.

It would appear to close the door completely on Luis Suarez joining Juventus, despite the Uruguayan flying to Italy today.

The Barcelona forward passed an exam that will grant him Italian (EU) citizenship, but he reportedly won’t be moving to Italy.
