Bas Dost happy to stay at Eintracht amid Spurs links

Bas Dost has shown no signs of wanting to leave Eintracht Frankfurt, according to Kicker.

The experienced Dutch striker has attracted interest from Club Brugge and more recently Tottenham.

Spurs boss Jose Mourinho is keen to sign a target man to relieve the pressure on Harry Kane.

And 31-year-old Dost has the profile Mourinho likes, being tall (6’4″), physical and experienced.

But as Kicker reports, Dost has ‘no thoughts of moving’ and is looking forward to the new season.

Dost joined Eintracht from Sporting CP last year with the German club paying €7m.

His first season back in the Bundesligs, where he previously starred for Wolfsburg, was hampered by injuries.

Despite those issues, Dost hit double figures in all competitions with 10 goals in 24 appearances.

Now feeling much fitter, Dost is looking forward to pairing up with Andre Silva in the Frankfurt attack, with a transfer unlikely.
