Only formalities remain before the 24-year-old can call himself a Leipzig player.
It is added that Sorloth could already be on a plane to Germany with his agent Morten Wivestad.
The Turkish club’s president said recently that he was willing to let Sorloth go for around €30m.
It is not clear yet how much Leipzig would pay, but it could be a new club record for the Germans.
Sorloth was a success on loan at Trabzonspor from Crystal Palace last season, leading Turkey’s scoring charts with 33 goals.
Trabzonspor had the option to make his stay permanent for €6m and now stand to make a huge profit.
