The talented 23-year-old will be announced as a Spurs player tomorrow if there are no setbacks, Marca reports.
Spurs have accepted that request and Madrid will be able to buy back Reguilon for between €35m and €40m over the next two years.
This is important for Reguilon who still dreams of playing for his boyhood side.
Zinedine Zidane currently has Ferland Mendy and Marcelo as left-back options, but the Brazilian turns 33 next year and is out of contract in 2022.
A deal is not done yet but progressive talks have been held between Madrid and Spurs.
Speaking to the AFP, Bale’s agent Jonathan Barnett provided an update this morning.
“It’s close but not done. It’s a complicated deal,” he said.
