The 18-year-old had an impressive loan spell at ADO Den Haag last season and Feyenoord were eager to keep him.
However, with his contract soon to expire and the player rejecting a new deal, Feyenoord had no choice but to accept Leeds’ offer.
In October 2019, Summerville made history by becoming ADO’s youngest goal scorer ever in the Eredivisie.
Since debuting for the Dutch under-19 national team in 2019, Summerville has scored six goals in five matches.
In addition to their big name signings, Leeds have been active in recruiting young talent this summer.
Cody Drameh, Joe Gelhardt, Sam Greenwood and Dani van den Heuvel have all arrived and Summerville will join them in the Leeds under-23 side.
