AC Milan bring in Tatarusanu as Donnarumma backup

AC Milan are signing Romania goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu from Lyon, according to Gianluca Di Marzio.

The 34-year-old joined Lyon from Nantes last year and made six appearances for the club, two of them in Ligue 1.

Tatarusanu is no strangers to Italian football having played for Fiorentina between 2014 and 2017.

The experienced shot-stopper will undergo a medical on Thursday morning before signing a three-year deal.

After being Anthony Lopes’ deputy at OL, Tatarusanu will now serve as Gianluigi Donnarumma’s backup at the San Siro.

Tatarusanu is a 69-time Romanian international and started both of their matches during the international break.
