Ricardo Quaresma returns to Portugal with Vitoria SC

Vitoria SC have announced the signing of former FC Porto star Ricardo Quaresma.

The mercurial winger, who turns 37 this month, has signed a two-year deal with the Liga NOS club.

Boavista were reportedly close to signing Quaresma, but Quaresma publicly shot down those rumours.

In a turbulent career, the winger has played for the likes of FC Porto, Barcelona, Inter Milan, Chelsea and Besiktas.

He most recently played for Turkish side Kasimpasa and left when his contract expired in June.

Quaresma has won 80 caps for Portugal with his last appearances coming in 2018.
