Havertz is the second Germany international to arrive at Stamford Bridge this summer after Timo Werner.
Considered one of Europe’s most talented young players, Havertz became Bayer’s youngest debutant in the 2016-17 season.

Havertz is already a regular for the German national team and has won seven caps for Die Mannschaft.
Havertz said it is a ‘dream come true’ for him to join Chelsea, who put a lot of time and effort into signing him.
“I am very happy and proud to be here,” he said. “For me it is a dream come true to play in a big club like Chelsea and I can’t wait to meet all the players and the trainers.
