He asked: “Is there a chance that will Messi will stay at Barcelona?” and Jorge responded with a simple “Yes”
The reporter than asked how the meeting with Barcelona president Josep Maria Bartomeu went and Jorge Messi said, “Very good.”
According to Deportes Cuatro, the chances of Messi staying at Camp Nou for another year have increased in recent hours.
Bartomeu continues to stand firm on his decision that Messi will not leave for anything less than his €700m release clause.
The Messi camp argue that Leo is already a free agent, owing to an exit clause in his contract that is being disputed.

It would also allow him to say a proper farewell to Barcelona fans at Camp Nou.
In a year’s time, he could then link up with Pep Guardiola at Man City or even explore other options.
Messi, who met with his friend Luis Suarez on Thursday, wants his future decided as soon as possible.
