Everton agree €22m fee for Watford’s Abdoulaye Doucoure

Everton are set to recruit THREE new midfielders with an agreement now in place for Abdoulaye Doucoure, according to Téléfoot .

James Rodriguez and Allan are both heading to Goodison Park for reunions with head coach Carlo Ancelotti.

And the Toffees will continue their impressive recruitment drive by bringing in 27-year-old Doucoure from Watford.

Saber Desfarges of Téléfoot reports that a fee of around €22m (£19.6m) has been agreed between Everton and Watford.

He adds that Doucoure will undergo a medical tomorrow before signing a four-year contract.

Doucoure joined Watford from Rennes in 2016 and won the club’s Player of the Season award at the end of the 2017-18 season.
