Mario Gotze rejects Monaco and Inter Miami moves

Mario Gotze remains a free agent following his departure from Borussia Dortmund in June.

The 28-year-old, who famously scored Germany’s World Cup winning goal in 2014, has been linked with a number of clubs.

BILD has provided an update on Gotze’s future, where he won’t be going, and where he could end up.

According to their information, Gotze has declined the chance to join Niko Kovac at AS Monaco in France.

Furthermore, the midfielder has knocked back an offer from David Beckham-owned Inter Miami in America.

Gotze has ruled out an ‘exotic’ league such as the MLS and China, and wants to stay in Europe.

Italy, Spain… or England?

Among the offers he has, there are Spanish and Italian clubs he is favouring a move to.

Fiorentina and Sevilla have been linked with Gotze, who is carefully considering his next move.

In the past day, the Daily Express has reported that West Ham are also plotting a move for the German.

Gotze’s new employer should be confirmed by the end of September at the latest.
