Gonzalo Higuain agrees two-year deal with Inter Miami

Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain has reached a total agreement to join MLS side Inter Miami, César Luis Merlo reports.

The well-informed Argentine journalist says that Miami have offered Higuain, 32, a ‘millionaire contract’ that will run until 2022.

Higuain had offers from England and Italy, but has decided to continue his career in the United States.

The presence of David Beckham, one of the Inter Miami owners and club president, is sure to have played a part in his decision.

The only thing left is to define Higuain’s from Juventus, which is likely to lead to his contract being rescinded.

Higuain has scored 66 goals in 148 appearances for the Old Lady since his controversial move from Napoli in 2016.
