Before an ACL injury ended his season, Reine-Adelaide was largely being used as a substitute by Rudi Garcia.
The new Ligue 1 campaign has kicked off, but Reine-Adelaide had to be content with 23 minutes off the bench against Dijon.
And the 22-year-old has gone public, saying he sees himself at another club in future.
“It is difficult to imagine my future at Lyon,” Reine-Adelaide told RMC Sport. “Today, I need to play matches consistently.
“I hear that I need to wait for exits in order to get a starting spot. But that is not the project that was sold to me when I came last summer.”
Having only joined a year ago, Reine-Adelaide is tied down to a long-term deal at OL, with his current contract running to 2024.
