Fenerbahce sign Ecuador striker Enner Valencia

Former West Ham striker Enner Valencia has returned to Europe by joining Fenerbahce.

The 30-year-old left Mexican side Tigres in June and was tipped to join Fener’s rivals Galatasaray.

However, Fenerbahce today announced the signing of Valencia on a three-year deal.

The Ecuador star moved to England in 2014 after a good World Cup, joining West Ham for €16m.

However, after a disappointing few years in the Premier League, including a loan spell at Everton, Valencia was sold to Tigres.
