Monaco are in advanced talks to sign Germany forward Kevin Volland from Bayer Leverkusen.
28-year-old Volland only has a year left on his deal at the BayArena and has turned down a new deal.
According to both BILD and Kicker, he is very close to joining Monaco who are now led by former Bayern Munich coach Niko Kovac.
The two clubs are in discussions and the fee for Volland should be around €25m.
Leverkusen want Monaco defender Benoit Badiashile, also a target for Manchester United, but any talks for him will be separate.
Capped ten times by Germany, Volland has been a consistent goal scorer for the past three seasons at Bayer.
In the 2019-20 campaign, he scored 10 goals in 22 Bundesliga appearances.
He will be another high profile exit with Kai Havertz close to joining Chelsea, but Bayer are in talks to sign Patrik Shick from Roma.
