Luis Suarez offered to Juventus on a free transfer

Juventus are considering a deal for Barcelona striker Luis Suarez after he was offered to the Italian champions.

According to Romeo Agresti and Gianluca Di Marzio, the 33-year-old has become a serious option for Juve.

Suarez is negotiating a severance payment with Barca that would release him from his contract, making him a free agent.

The Uruguayan wants a €25m golden handshake from Barcelona, who have told him that he is no longer in their plans.

Italy’s tax laws mean Juventus could handle his salary and coupled with no transfer fee, make him an appealing option.

A great friend of Lionel Messi, Suarez could soon have the chance to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.

It would also mean Suarez on the team as Giorgio Chiellini, the man he infamously bit at the 2014 World Cup.
