Valencia have announced an agreement in principle to sell forward Rodrigo Moreno to Leeds United.

Moreno, 29, will join Marcelo Bielsa’s side subject to him completing all the necessary documentation and passing a medical.

Rodrigo has spent six years at Valencia, scoring 59 goals in 229 games for Los Che.

He is the latest big name to quit the troubled Mestalla club after captain Dani Parejo and midfielder Francis Coquelin.

Valencia are working on a deal to replace Rodrigo with Real Madrid forward Borja Mayoral, who they have offered €15m for.

Rodrigo signed a four-year deal after successfully completing his medical.
