Atletico Madrid in talks over €15m deal for Marc Roca

Atletico Madrid are in negotiations with Espanyol to sign midfielder Marc Roca, according to AS.

With Espanyol’s relegation from La Liga, the talented Roca is poised to leave his boyhood club.

AC Milan, Arsenal, Real Madrid and Atalanta have all been credited with an interest in the 23-year-old.

In search of a replacement for Ever Banega, Sevilla also like Roca, who almost joined Bayern Munich last year.

But his future could be at the Wanda Metropolitano with Atleti discussing a €15m deal which could include players heading to Espanyol.

Diego Simeone has asked for a positional midfielder and after studying several profiles, Roca is the chosen one.

Roca, a 2019 Euro Under-21 champion with Spain, made 44 appearances for Espanyol last season.
