Téléfoot: Thiago Silva to join Chelsea this week

Thiago Silva will become a Chelsea player within the next week after leaving Paris Saint-Germain, Téléfoot reports.

Following up on other reports, the French channel states that there are a few details to sort, but Silva will join Chelsea.

Silva, 36 next month, led PSG one more time in their Champions League final against Bayern Munich on Sunday.

The Brazilian was unable to leave Paris on a high note as PSG were beaten 1-0, but he will be remembered as a club legend.

Following the match, Silva denied reports from Italy that he has agreed to join Fiorentina, but did confirm talks.

“Fiorentina? Reports of an agreement are not true,” Silva told Sky Italia. “My agent is talking to them and other clubs but nothing is signed yet.

“Tomorrow or the day after tomorrow I will have to look at the offers and make the best decision for me and my family.”

And is future seems to be in London with Frank Lampard’s Chelsea, who are making waves in the transfer market.
