There have been multiple reports in recent days that newly-promoted Fulham are making a move for 33-year-old Pique.
It was claimed on Thursday night that Fulham have offered Pique a two-year deal worth €5.5m plus bonuses.
However, Tony Khan, son of billionaire Fulham owner Shahid Khan, responded to a tweet with that story.
Khan simply said ‘false’, which would appear to squash the rumour.

Pique’s future has been cast into doubt amid news that Barcelona plan to sell many of their heavyweights.
Garcia, 19, is considered an ideal heir to Pique, who also swapped Barca for Manchester (United) before returning home.
