Bayer Leverkusen join AC Milan in Serge Aurier race

Bayer Leverkusen are considering Serge Aurier as they look for a new right-back, Sky Sport reports.

Aurier, 27, still has two years left on his Tottenham contract but is up for sale.

Max Bielefeld, Sky transfer expert in Germany, said: “Jose Mourinho absolutely wants to part with the player and Spurs are ready to let him go for between €15m and €20m.”

AC Milan are currently in talks for the former PSG full-back, but Bayer could also make a move.

The Bundesliga side cannot make an offer until they sell Kai Havertz, whose move to Chelsea is still dragging on.

In addition to Aurier, Leverkusen have also been showing interest in Sergino Dest of Ajax and Norwich’s Max Aarons.
