The 33-year-old and Juventus agreed to a mutual termination of his contract on Wednesday.
And MLS outfit Inter Miami have wasted no time in announcing the capture of Matuidi.

Matuidi leaves Juventus as a league champion and the presence of David Beckham played a big part in his decision.
Beckham, the co-owner of Inter Miami, called it a ‘proud’ moment to have a world champion such as Matuidi join.
“I couldn’t be happier to welcome my friend Blaise to Inter Miami,” said Beckham. “He is an exciting and gifted player and a great person.
“To have a World Cup winner of Blaise’s quality in our new team is such a proud moment – for us as owners and for our fans.
“For me personally, to have a former teammate joining our Club is very special and I can’t wait to welcome him and his beautiful family to South Florida.”
Matuidi will wear the number 8 short in Miami and will occupy an international roster slot.
