Coquelin, 29, has signed a four-year deal with the Yellow Submarine after passing a medical on Tuesday.

He will be followed by another Valencia midfielder, Dani Parejo, who could arrive on a free transfer.
Having acquired a double pivot from Valencia, Villarreal coach Unai Emery has responded to the departures of Santi Cazorla and Zambo Anguissa.
Cazorla moved to Qatar to finish his career, while Villarreal wouldn’t pay Fulham’s €25m asking price for Anguissa after his loan spell.
Coquelin joins Villarreal two-and-a-half years after a €13.5m move from Arsenal to Valencia.
