West Brom coach Slaven Bilic is again looking to his homeland by lining up a deal for goalkeeper Ivo Grbic.
According to Jutarnji list, the newly-promoted Premier League side want the impressive Lokomotiva Zagreb shot-stopper.
Grbic, 24, was the best goalkeeper in Croatia’s 1. HNL this season along with Dominik Livakovic of Dinamo Zagreb.
Let go by Hajduk Split two years ago, 6’5″ tall Grbic has made a name for himself at the Zagreb club.
His performances were important in helping Lokomotiva reach the Champions League qualifiers with a second place finish.
The report claims that West Brom have not yet made an offer, but one ‘should arrive’ in a few days.
Grbic is not the only Croatian on Bilic’s shortlist, with reports last week saying a €9.5m bid had gone in for Mislav Orsic of Dinamo Zagreb.
West Brom also want to keep midfielder Filip Krovinovic who has been on loan from Benfica.
