The free-scoring Canadian has signed a five-year contract with LOSC and will wear the number nine shirt.
The initial fee is reportedly a club-record €30m which could rise to €32m if certain objectives are met.

In 95 games for Gent, 20-year-old David scored an impressive 48 goals and delivered 25 assists.
During his presentation, David said he had been looking forward to this move.
“I’m very happy,” David declared. “I have looked forward to this day a lot, and it is a pleasure to be a Mastiff today.
“I know the project set up at LOSC by the President, Luis Campos and Christophe Galtier. There is a very good team with good players.
“I want to play and improve, and I think this is the perfect place. I’m a player who knows how to place himself on the pitch. I like to play with my qualities: technique and speed in particular.
“I can’t wait to meet the supporters. Go the LOSC!”
