Lokomotiv agree €5.5m fee for Bordeaux’s Francois Kamano

Lokomotiv Moscow have agreed a €5.5m fee with Bordeaux for winger Francois KamanoRMC Sport reports.

The Guinea international will sign a four-year deal with Lokomotiv and play in next season’s Champions League.

24-year-old Kamano will replace Jefferson Farfan at Lokomotiv, with the two clubs discussing the final details.

Lokomotiv opened talks with Bordeaux in July for Kamano and several weeks later finally have their man.

Kamano joined Bordeaux from Bastia for €2.5m in 2016 and has gone on to make 139 appearances.

Monaco tried to sign him in 2019, but despite talks reaching an advanced stage, the proposed €15m deal fell through.

After that, his form deteriorated and he was used only 12 times by Paulo Sousa in the 2019-20 season.

The deal is now officlal with Lokomotiv announcing Kamano’s signing on a long-term contract.
