Osimhen, 21, has agreed a five-year contract with the option of a sixth year.
After months of work, Napoli have finally secured the Nigeria forward who scored 18 goals in the 2019-20 season.
Napoli will pay an initial €50m for Osimhen, with up to €10m to follow in variables.
However, the deal has a ‘real’ value of €70m as Gianluca Di Marzio explains. That is because Lille have paid €20m separately for four Napoli players.
They are Greece goalkeeper Orestis Karnezis and youth players Claudio Manzi (defender), Ciro Palmieri (attacker) and Luigi Liguori (forward).
Osimhen becomes Napoli’s club-record signing, overtaking Hirving Lozano who cost €42m in 2019.
