Bournemouth have accepted an offer of £41m (€45m) from Manchester City for defender Nathan Ake, according to reports in England.
A number of sources, including the Daily Mail and Sky Sports, report that 25-year-old Ake is joining Pep Guardiola’s City.
Ake has also been courted by Manchester United and his former club Chelsea.
Bournemouth’s relegation from the Premier League meant Ake was destined to leave, and City have been quick to follow up on their interest.
The Citizens will reportedly pay £40m up-front, rising to £41m, and the deal should be finalised in the coming days.
Ake is the second player close to an Etihad switch with Ferran Torres of Valencia soon to be announced.
A club-record signing for Bournemouth in 2017, Ake has made 121 appearances for the Cherries.
He has also won eleven caps for the Netherlands, most recently featuring against Estonia in November.
