AS: Lazio open talks for Man City legend David Silva

Lazio want to give Manchester City icon David Silva the chance to play in Serie ADiario AS reports.

Silva, 34, waved farewell to the Premier League on Sunday after a decade gracing the English league.

And Rome club Lazio initiated contact with the player’s camp on Monday to discuss a potential deal.

Silva will decide in the next few days whether he wants to continue playing in sky blue – with Lazio – or choose other options.

Lazio will take part in next season’s Champions League having finished fourth in the Italian league.

According to AS, Dubai clubs Shabab al-Ahli and Al-Nasr SC have both presented offers to Silva.

Manuel Pellegrini’s Real Betis were also linked with Silva by the Spanish press over the weekend.
