Sidibe, 27, is not expected to stay at Everton after their option to buy the on-loan defender expired.
Monaco want around €12m for Sidibe, while Carlo Ancelotti’s Toffees would favour a new loan.
Everton now have eyes on Man United’s Dalot to fill the vacancy that Sidibe’s exit will create.
Kenny Tete of Lyon has also been discussed internally at Goodison Park, but interest in Dalot has grown ‘in recent days’.
The Portuguese right-back is on a list of six players United want to sell this summer to raise funds for new signings.
Despite having a big reputation when he joined United from Porto two years ago, Dalot has struggled for game time.
The 21-year-old has started just one Premier League match this season with a further three appearances from the bench.
