The 22-year-old has been in England before, spending half a season on loan with Crystal Palace in 2019.
However, he never made an appearance and Palace did not use their option to buy.
Carlo Ancelotti’s Everton have been considering their own move to sign Perri after contacting Sao Paulo in January.
Perri went on to renew his contract in March with a €40m release clause included.
Jovem Pan suggests that Sao Paulo would negotiate a lower fee due to the Coronavirus and its effects.
It is suggested that Everton are still keen on Perri but it isn’t known if they will make an official offer.
Perri has appeared very few games at professional level but is highly rated and plays for Brazil’s under-23 team.
