Hertha Berlin are interested in signing Real Madrid striker Luka Jovic this summer, according to Marca.
Backed by the millions of investor Lars Windhorst, Hertha are planning important signings to try and compete with Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund for the title.
Although the task won’t be easy, a player like Jovic could help them narrow the gap.
To date Jovic has been a major flop for Real Madrid since his €60m arrival from Eintracht Frankfurt last year.
However, he is well proven in Germany after scoring 27 goals in the 2018-19 season for Eintracht.
Despite his poor first season in Madrid, Jovic has clubs showing interest in him.
AC Milan are keen to take him to Serie A, though would prefer an initial loan deal for the Serb.
Madrid are willing to listen to offers for Jovic and other clubs besides Hertha and Milan are sure to be interested.
