Sporting CP have reached an agreement with Manchester City for the loan of Pedro Porro, Record reports.
Porro, 20, joined City from Girona for €12m last year and was loaned to Real Valladolid in Spain.
The right-back made just seven La Liga starts for Valladolid and will hope for more minutes next season in Portugal.
With centre-back Zouhair Feddal on his way from Real Betis, Sporting are reinforcing their defence even more with Porro.
All three parties involved have given the green light with only the final details to be agreed on.
Sporting have a working agreement with City, which led to Felix Correia moving to England last year (he has since been sold to Juventus for €10.5m).
Porro will now get to experience Liga NOS as well as the Europa League with Sporting.
Betis had also shown interest in loaning Spain under-21 international Porro.
