Mohamed Ayachi Ajroudi is hoping to complete a takeover of Marseille and has big dreams.
Current owner Frank McCourt could sell the cash-strapped Ligue 1 side soon, with Ajroudi a potential buyer.
“I love football, especially the noble side of sport,” the Franco-Tunisian businessman said.
“I like German discipline, especially that of Bayern Munich. And I appreciate Barcelona’s style of football.
“And one player I will never forget is Cristiano Ronaldo. I like respect and discipline. He embodies that.
“Do I dream of him in Marseille? Everything is possible in life. It would be a dream…”
He was then asked about the possibility of Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane coaching OM.
“Zidane? We’ll see what happens in the future,” he remarked cryptically.
Despite their money troubles, OM returned to the Champions League with a second place finish under Andre Villas-Boas.
And the 10-time French champions could be even stronger with the wealth and dreams of Ajroudi behind them.
