There have been doubts recently, particularly in the Catalan press, about whether Griezmann will stay at Barca.
Griezmann has struggled to fit into the Barcelona side, often playing beneath his usual level.
At the height of his slump in form, the French international went eight games without finding the net.
He been limited to nine La Liga goals, far less than his usual return at Atletico where he always scored between 15 and 22 goals.
However, Griezmann has shown signs of adapting recently and shone in Barca’s 4-0 win over Villarreal on Sunday.
And during a meeting with club officials and his representatives on Tuesday, Griezmann was told by Eric Abidal: “We count a lot on you.”
The Catalan club have definitively ruled out a departure for Griezmann and believe he will fare much better next season.
