Official: Feyenoord sign Bryan Linssen from Vitesse

Feyenoord have pulled off a coup by signing striker Bryan Linssen on a free transfer after his Vitesse contract expired.

The 29-year-old has signed a three-year deal with Feyenoord following two successful seasons in Arnhem.

Linssen was joint second in the Eredivisie scoring charts before the Coronavirus stoppage, only one goal behind Feyenoord’s own Steven Berghuis.

“It is no secret that we have been charmed by Bryan for some time,” Feyenoord’s technical director Frank Arnesen said.

“His way of playing, his drive and his style suit Feyenoord well. Scoring goals is very important in football and with these statistics Bryan has shown that he is effective and can therefore be of great value to Feyenoord.

“So it is great that we have managed to figure it out. This is a step forward for both him and us.”
