Sporting and Betis want Man City right-back Pedro Porro

Sporting CP and Real Betis are keen to sign Manchester City right-back Pedro Porro for next season, Pucela Fichajes reports.

Porro, 20, joined Man City from their partner club Girona last summer for €12m and was loaned to Real Valladolid.

However, the Spain under-21 international has found game time hard to come by, managing only seven starts in La Liga.

Porro will return to Manchester for pre-season but knows there is little chance of him being in next season’s plans.

And two teams – Sporting and Betis – want to take Porro on loan next season with an option to buy.

August will be a key month for negotiations between City and interested teams.
