Official: Barcelona sign Miralem Pjanic from Juventus for €60m

FC Barcelona have announced the signing of midfielder Miralem Pjanic from Juventus for €60m plus €5m in variables.

The move follows Arthur’s transfer from Barca to Juventus earlier in the day, rounding off this swap deal.

Pjanic, 30, has signed a four-year deal and has a release clause of €400m.

Like Arthur, he will remain at his current club until the end of the season.

Pjanic leaves Serie A after nine seasons in Italy playing for Roma and Juventus.

During his spell in Turin, the Bosnian international has won three Serie A titles – more than likely soon to be with Juve four points clear at the top.
