Arthur agrees to join Juve from Barca in Pjanic swap deal

The last hurdle blocking the Miralem Pjanic for Arthur swap deal between Juventus and Barcelona has fallen.

Arthur has this afternoon finally agreed to join Juventus after resisting a move from Camp Nou.

Renowned Goal journalist Romeo Agresti broke the news on Twitter, with other sources soon confirming it.

Arthur, 23, joined Barcelona two years ago in a deal worth up to €40m, and will join Juve for €70m plus bonuses.

Going the other way will be 30-year-old Pjanic, who is valued at €60m plus bonuses in the deal.

A Serie A star for nine seasons at Roma and Juventus, Pjanic wanted the move to Barca and has got it.
