Pastore, 31, is under contract with Roma until 2023 but is open to a move – if the right offer arrives.
A transfer to America appeals to Pastore on a personal level but would also put him closer to his family in Argentina.
In recent weeks, offers have arrived from Qatar and the United Arab Emirates for the ex-PSG star.
But Pastore is only interested in leaving Europe for the USA.
Roma have put a €10m price-tag on Pastore, but will drop that to €7-8m if he finds a satisfactory offer.
In February, Inter Miami, a club part-owned by David Beckham, met with Pastore’s entourage to declare their interest.
Miami are ready to offer the 29-cap Argentina international a multi-year deal worth €5m-per-season.
In recent weeks, LA Galaxy have also been considering offering Pastore the same deal.
The Galaxy are led by Argentine coach Guillermo Barros Schelotto, who is a big admirer of Pastore.
However, persistent ankle problems have limited him to just nine Serie A appearances this season.
