Nani: Cristiano Ronaldo will ‘probably’ move to the MLS

Nani has revealed that his former Manchester United and Portugal teammate Cristiano Ronaldo could end his career in the MLS.

Nani is now playing for Orlando City in the United States and believes Ronaldo could follow in his footsteps.

In an interview with ESPN, Nani revealed that Ronaldo had spoken to him about moving to America.

“A couple of years ago, he told me that he will probably end up in America,” Nani said. “It’s not 100 per cent, but probably. There is a chance.”

Juventus star Ronaldo is now 35, but remains one of the world’s best footballers and has scored 25 goals this season.

Ronaldo’s contract at Juve ends in June 2022, at which point he will be 37 and potentially ready to wind down his career in the USA.
